cannon cooker grill problem

can any one help please, i have a cannon chester cooker mob no 10540G
grill will light, but flames soft about three inches long, and will not spread over the rest of the grill ( from front to back ie no power to them ), cleaned pilot and burner but made no difference at all,

get a gas engineer to check this out sooner rather than later, faulty grills are notorious for producing carbon monoxide in fairly high concentrations which can be very dangerous/fatal

cheers on the reply, but no worry`s on it killing me as i can`t use the grill as i have said the flames are only about three inches long and floppy and do not spread over the grill as they should, can`t under stand what can be coursing it as the rest of the cooker works fine, so if any one has any idear`s i would be most grateful , many thanks
