Can't clear memory Visonic PowerMax

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me out please

I opened up my Visonic PowerMax Complete to fit a GSM module and obviously opening it up triggers the CPU tamper alarm. After fitting the module and closing it all up again I now can't seem to clear the memory.

I've had it opened up before and if I remember right all I had to do was press OK to view all messages in memory then arm and disarm? The warning light isn't lit on the unit and I heard the trigger switch click back in when I refitted so I'm assuming it just needs the memory cleared?

I spent hours searching about it and anything I found just said to press OK to clear the memory then arm and disarm but after I press OK to view the messages it just goes back to "NOT READY MEMORY" and wont let me arm or even disarm cause it says its not ready? The message is "CPU TAMPER ALARM" by the way, I wasn't sure if the event log needs to be viewed as well to clear the memory so I even went through that but made no difference.

Power down & up then try & arm then disarm.

I haven't done that before, I didn't set it up either and quite new to it. Is it just a case of removing the power connector for AC and the battery pack? Will I need to re-enroll any devices or do any extra config once it powers back on?

No need to reconfig, just remove batt and AC and power up again, your just need to set the date and time after.
