hi,
i recently replaced the prv on my Ideal Classic NF230, now the pressure seems to be rest at almost 2.5bar which im thinking is slightly excessive. I've tried releasing the prv and dumping some water outside, ive also tried removing water from the system via the drain off point and also the rad bleed valves, all seem to work but then the boiler seems to top itself back up again, and the pressure returns to around 2.5 bar, is this too high? even though my boiler is a conventional gas boiler it does seem to have a red plastic disc shaped vessel on the top. Expansion vessel? would that change my situation?
thanks
matt
