Can't get flexible connector hose off.

Hi.

Just moved into a new flat and the toilet is running.
So went to fit a new float valvle when I noticed there is also a leak where the flexible hose connects to the mains.

Turned off the water and removed the toilet to geto the pipes that went ok.
Now though I can't work out how to get the flexible hose off the mains.
It doesn't unscrew and has a plastic end. Tried giving it a spin and pull but worried about pulling the pipes off.

Can anyone advice please.

apply a cold towel to the pipe and warm the rubber up with a hairdryer.

Plastic bit just spins.

Is it supposed to pull of?

Just doing a search and maybe its a old pish fit one
It has a ring which sit about 1mm from the main connector.
Can't get it in though to release.


Edit. After finding its a pushfit I went and got the tool and after a not of playing and some swearing I got it off.
