Can't refill Vaillaint ecotec

The system at my new house was drained and now I can't refill it. The Ecotec pro hasn't got the handles underneath, but I used a screwdriver to turn the valves. I tried them all (except gas) - in pairs - as I know you have to do 2 together - but no joy. No filling sound or increase in pressure.

I think maybe the water inlet is disabled somehow but didn't want to mess around too much without knowing what i'm doing.

Can you help? Which are the 2 valves I should turn and do I have to do something to the silver braided bit to get the water flowing? I've posted some photos if that helps.

The braided hose is the filling loop, yours has only got one valve on it but the handle is missing. So you'll have to turn it with a pair of pliers.
