Cap pipe?

Hi All,

I have my washing machine connected to the pipes under the sink, however there is a pipe on the right, which leaks water when I wash the dishes. Does this need some sort of cap?

I feel like it was fitted for two appliances however I only have a washing machine.

Yes it needs to be sealed somehow, either as described above or just a bung in the end. It should also be turned into the upright position.
