Car Colour

Apparently, cars that are black are popular with thieves.

Just trying to work out if this is because there are a great deal of black cars on the road.

So, what colour is your car? Or van....?

it really depends on the car. Some look good in one colour and cheap in another.

Never had a red one, even in the days when I'd buy 'bangers' on a weekly or monthly basis. First car was a swamp green Fiat 128, most seem to have been some shade of blue. My favourite car & certainly the one I had the most fun in was a Skoda Estelle in hand painted matt black. Before you all jump on that it was one of the group 2 rally cars that Skoda had immense success with in the 80's.

I remember several South Yorkshire traffic officers being dismissed in the 80's 'cos it was found they were playing snooker on the M1. They'd pull a white one then a colour with the scoring system being the same as snooker . . . . . . More stuff that you just cannot make up.
