My kid threw squash into the speaker. Will it mess up electrics inside?

Also often wandered if rain on top when door is open can get into the door and damage the electrics?

Probably not the best tonic for a loudspeaker but it won't damage anything else......just let it dry and see if it still works.
Electrical systems within the door have a certain degree of weather protection, and are often on the outside of the plastic sheet stuck to the door frame.....visible with the door card off.
Water runs down the inside of the door skin and hopefully drains back out again - through the holes that need to be kept clear.
With the door open the rain should just run off - but it's not designed for this of course!
