Yes its a strange one but as I could not find a 'laundry diy' site I thought Id see if anyone else here had sufferred the same problem.
I was giving the car a light wax over yesterday in great weather. Then the plastic bag that was holding my cloths broke free. It started to blow down the road at pace. Being a good citizen I gave chase. Forgetting that I was still holding the tin of liquid car wax in my hand. I caught the bag after a few tries at stepping on it and I then looked down. My left trouser leg and boot was pretty much covered in wax that had spilled out of the tin and had dripped down the leg. It must have been laughable to anyone watching. I wiped it away as best I could.
The wife is unsure wether to go with a cold wash or a hot wash to try and save my trousers! You know, not the best pair, but the real comfy pair I like to wear a lot! Green khaki combat style pants. Wax was the turtle stuff in flat green tin.
Any advice welcome, otherwise maybe Ive made you smile at my stupidity )
