Hi all
I have a garden room I'm making into a gym. I want half the floor to be laminate wood and the weight area to have a rubber base and a carpet overlay.
I don't think I'll be able to find the materials to keep both zones flat so will
The current floor composition from bottom to top is mot2, sand, barrier, insulation, barrier, concrete, screed and self levelling compound. The last barrier laps up to the finished floor height.
I have some spare green vapour barrier over. Is it necessary at any point? And is there a problem with overlaying the carpet over the rubber flooring?
Thanks
