Have got a house in west London which we're looking at replacing some windows at the front. Instead of plastic, we're thinking of having the opening casements replaced with perhaps deeper rebates to accommodate double glazed units, or have secondary double glazed sliding units (thus creating triple glazing).
We're looking for advice and a quote from a proper carpenter who can construct the openers (we hope to use the existing frames), keeping in the style of the existing mouldings.
If you're interested then pm me for further info and contact details.
