South Africa athletics chief admits lying over Caster Semenya gender tests...

If there is such a thing as a completely androgynous person, i.e. indistinguishable from either sex, then i don't see how such a person can be allowed to compete in sports where gender is a factor.

No doubt there are sports where being male and female is irrelevant where competing is concerned, like...er.....erm....er chess for instance.

Why don't they give her an x-ray and look at her pelvis. I have to say though the recent tests were pretty invasive and humiliating.

x-rays cannot distinguish between teste's and ovaries..

it's claimed that "it" has a condition where the testosterone did not affect "it's" development in the womb and didn't create male genetalia, however, "it" is still genetically male and has teste's where "it's" ovaries should be as a female..

just because they had a look when "it" was born and said "the baby has no penis so it's a girl" and brought her up as such doesn't mean that "it" is female..
