We want a cat flap in this door which used to be the backdoor, but now leads into the conservatory. We don't want to create a tunnel through the walls.

We had a glazier out for something else, and he said it'll be a struggle because of the foam inside the door or something ?

I'd be looking at getting someone in to do it, just want to know if it's possible because of the relief on both sides.

Straight forward job really, FYI is a steel faced door and could be a foam core or solid timber but thats all, it really is as simple as drilling a hole right through and cutting it out with a jigsaw, the only issue i see is because of the raised (albeit flush) panels in the bottom, the cat flap generally fits against a flat surface, in your case you'll have a gap where the panel is recessed although this can be filled with silicone or similar, it does help that its not an external door now though
