My village hall has bought a Proton catering dishwasher, pro thing, washes in 3 minutes, has suction tubes to draw detergent and rinse aid from containers underneath.

But it doesn't get mugs or teapots clean.

A domestic dishwasher gets them like new, so what's wrong?

We are using Proton Perform detergent with 10% Sodium Hydroxide

we have had them back several times.

we are using their own detergent, I wonder if it might be that. It's the tea stains in particular.

My office kitchen had a pro machine , got thru one a year as they were very unreliable and the service even worse, often failed again before the engineer left the building.Proved cheaper to buy domestic and bin it once guarantee ran out.

Depends how much you have to wash.

Ive only had dealings with a Hobart under-counter machine and that was very solid and did a cracking job, they appear a common brand in the pass-through type washers as well. Although our students union had Proton washrite Glasswashers i think.

Worse case, get them to take it back and get a second hand FX10!
