Hi All,
Quick question.
My bedroom has a stud wall covering the deep alvcoves either side of the chimney making one long wall flush with the chimney breast.
The house is solid wall construction so I'm looking for any options to insulate. This seems like a prime option to fill with cavity wall type insulation as the stud walls are cold to the touch.
Would a cavity wall firm go near this job? Any other suggestion for getting some insulation in there short of drilling holes & squirting in expanding foam?
Cheers
Phil
