Architect has specified our build to have 100 Cavity with 50mm celotex and a 50mm air gap but ive managed to get 75mm celotex cheaper than the 50mm it is in 1.2mX2.4m sheets so presume it will need to be cut up to install. The wall would be 75mm Insulation and 25mm air gap would that cause any problems?

Apologies if this is a silly question

Check with Celotex.

Someone is going to have fun fitting those cuts. Hope the 8x4 sheets are dead flat, cut dead to size and the bricklayers dead good.

Don't think it will cause problems, but can't imagine the brickies will be happy with it. PIR for cavity walls comes in sheets that are much smaller and therefore much easier to deal with - fitting wall ties will be fun, without spending ages cutting up the sheets...... probs best asking the brickies if they're happy with it. I suspect the lower price is due to the high demand for 50mm cavity wall 45 x 120
