I have read the posts on DIYnot regarding mould in bathrooms and understand the cause of mould is poor ventilation and a cold bathroom, the mould affects ceiling mostly as the walls are tiled, so Iam going to have a good quality extractor fan installed (no form of ventilation at the moment except window), so my question is is there a product on the market that would be waterproof and flexible as my ceiling has a curve, to use after I have had fan installed? as this will be installed in ceiling . I have searched for flexible bathroom panels online but all seem to be the rigid PVC type.

A good heat source along with your new fan should stop condensation on the ceiling then you can just clean and repaint. You will also need a means of fresh air getting into the bathroom when the air is drawn out by the fan. Usually a gap under the door will suffice. Or are you looking for something more decorative.

I have not been able to get back here until now.
Thanks jj4091, a gap under the door sounds good (least work as possible lol)

Fit more insulation above the ceiling.

Use a bathroom/kitchen emulsion when you repaint the ceiling.
