Hi all, I'm after some advice for repairing a ceiling crack in the plaster. Is it as simple as some flexible adhesive followed by flexible filler?

Thanks in advance for any advice given, really appreciate it.

Loose plaster skin over plasterboard? Coming away in a sheet?

Does it move

Yes sounds like that, it does move. I can pull it back its about 3mm thick. Other hairline cracks also visible but they aren't coming away.

Sounds like they will be soon! I'd pull off the loose bits and see where you're at

I had the same thing recently too. My original ceiling was artex so had someone skim over it. Unfortunately I caught the lip of the skim when I installed a new loft hatch/ladders and it cracked the skim.
I decided to take as much off as possible, board over it and skim it again on new boarding.
Hope your fix is as easy
