Ceiling Fan/Switch

Hi,
I have replaced my light on the landing with a ceiling fan. The light was controlled by a switch downstairs and one up. The fan works ok but the switches do not, I was distracted when I removed the original ceiling rose. I have a single cable for the switch, but which cable from the fan do I connect it to?.

your post is too breif. Need more info. Sounds like the light is controlled by 2way switching.

Anyway, why would you have a ceiling fan on a landing?
