I am having my cellar converted soon but have decided to make it a self contained flat instead. Can anybody tell me what the difference in regs will be? I know I will need to submit plans for this and I am pretty well-read on the regs for if it was just an extension of the property but I would like any feedback on how they change for an apartment.
