Hi
I am thinking of doing a cellar conversion into a Kitchen. There is currently access to the cellar from the side via a door and it can also be accessed via stairs from the floor above. The door opens onto a neighbours property and i would like to remove the door and put in a frosted glass window. If i am going to rent this property out, does it legaly need to have a fire exit? If so, can i just make sure the window opens enough to e able to escape out of it. Or.... am i legally OK to just have the stairs access available?
Thanks
