Cellar installation

Help, I want to install a washer-dryer but it will have to go in my cellar, which is mostly below ground level, and access is gained via an internal staircase. Can this be done? What should I consider? I will have the installation done professionally of course but don't want to waste time/money if it is not possible. There is an electrical "spur"(?) already installed there.

How do you propose to get the waste water out of the cellar ? If your considering a cellar sump and pump, things will start to get very expensive once you've added to other plumbing in there.
