I'm tiding up my cellar and some of the white painted brickwork is in need of a spruce up.
It's used mainly for storage so there is a bit of damp in the air down there but mostly pretty dry.
I'm wondering if i need to buy specialist cellar paint or will exterior paint be good for the job, there seems to be quite the increase in price for the cellar stuff and it's not the jobs not that important to spend a lot of cash on.
Any advice will be great.Cheers

A good quality Masonry paint like Sandtex or Weathershield should be well up for the job, just a thought but is there anyway you could increase the ventilation down there that would certainly help.

Cheers for the information. I'll give that a go. I hope just moving a lot of the junk out of the cellar, old slightly damp wood etc, will help get the air moving and get a bit of moisture out of the air.

Your welcome, the wood of which will absorb moisture certainly wont help your cause. Hope you get it sorted!

Good luck
