I am trying to install cement board in my newly built bathroom. these board are 1200x800 and 12.5mm in thickness. they are very heavy, thus, normal plaster board adhesive will not hold them in place,
what sort of Cement board adhesive I can use to stick on the thermolite wall. I amanged to screw them on the stud wall

Do you not use cement based tile adhesive?

That's what I was told to use by the manufacturer of the ones I used

because they are heaver then normal plaster board, that is what I was told by the plasterer who is doing the work
Then why doesn't the plasterer know what to use? o_O

Tip. These boards will need to be mechanically fixed in addition to any adhesive

It's nowt to do with the weight rather the cohesion is pants.
We dab our cement boards using dry wall adhesive then mechanically fix once the adhesive has set. Don't faff about with them until they have been mechanically fixed or else they may pop off their dabs.
