Cementing in copper pipes

Can you help a novice please.
i need to cement-in some copper WATER pipes. Do i need to cover them with anything first.
Please don't laugh - any help gratefully received.

They should be wrapped in something impermeable. Ideally, if there's enough thickness of concrete, wrap then in foam insulation and wrap this with waterproof tape (packing tape will do the trick).

Any joints should (in theory at least) be accessible, but in reality this doesn't always happen. Only use soldered joints and check for leaks (hire a hydraulic tester for half a day and take it up to at least 6 bar for at least an hour)
 
Thanks for your prompt and detailed reply. I should have said that it's an old installation and i can't get under the pipes without digging to Australia (ha ha - not ).
I dunno what i expect any one to suggest really.
Just grasping at straws I suppose.

Is it ok to laugh now? or........was there something else? Do you have any questions about burying copper pipes in walls that are perhaps already buried in walls? Maybe running pipes through windows?
