Hi,
I started off wanting a solid fuel fire then looked at a gas insert and now want to go back to soild fuel.
The issue is that when they put in the gas entral heating a few years ago, they took out the old back boiler and disconnected the gas fire. The gas fire has now been left to cover the hole but they routed the combi boiler pipes through the side and across the fire place.
Can these be rerouted?
Pipes going through the fireplace
Side view of chimney going upstairs to combi boiler
Does anyone know if its just the pipes going through the centre that need moving for a soild fuel fire or does the whole lot need shifting?
Thank
