central heating controller ep2002

Hi.

My central heating controller died today, the display is blank and the lights don't work and obviously it doesn't control the boiler. Ive replaced the fuse and reset it using + and - together but only get a very brief flicker from the lights then nothing. Anyone got any other ideas?.
If it is beyond repair what can it be replaced with, how simple is it to do and where can i get a replacement, oh and how much will it cost?.

Try turning power on and off a few times it may reset if not its a 2 minute job to change it at bottom you will see a little slot just wide enough for a sparky screwdriver push one in and it releases a clip and clock pulls away from bottom

If you post a pic of your ep2002 after you've got it off, someone will know which new ones plug straight into the old backplate and may need no wiring changes. //www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=129539

Beware the terminals on the backplate are live when you take the programmer off, so switch off the isolator and remove the fuse

go to plumb ceter and get the direct replacement (it's a special backplate)
