central heating design & supply

Greetings
I'm looking for a company to design a central heating system for me & supply all necessary parts, for me to fit myself.
30 years ago I used a similar service from Ravensbourne Heating & they were superb: Everything was supplied & worked perfectly; but they don't seem to be in business anymore.
I'd be grateful if anyone can suggest a reliable company.

I hope there aren't any.
30 years ago there were fewer rules about who fitted gas appliances.
If you haven't been trained sir, such as a Corgi now Gas Safe Register qualified engineer has been, you aren't "competent".

FOr working out radiator sizes etc, a Wickes leaflet for a rough guide, or a simple plumbing book. There isn't much to it.

There are no reliable companies that design and deliver gas central heating systems for the diy market.
If you must, install the rads yourself but leave the rest to a pro.

Hold on - Who said anything about Gas?
I live in the sticks, so we don't have the luxury of mains gas.
I'll probably go for oil & have the boiler fitted/commisioned in the proper way.
Does anyone have any constructive suggestions?

May I suggest you picking up the local yellow pages then. I am sure they have changed in the last 30 years You will get a local suitably qualified tradesman to supply and fit you heating system. Alas, your mindset is 30yrs out of date. Oil, Gas, or Dual Fuel no diy'er can "Install" the system as you suggested...

If you don't supply sufficient information the educated replies will assume you are not qualified or deeemed competent to carryout such work. There replies are of a safety warning, if you read your original post again, what you did 30yrs ago, you can't do today fella....
