I've just discovered a small leak in the supply pipe to my central heating header tank in the loft (looks like a failed soldered joint - must be about 18 yrs old).
It will be tomorrow evening before I get chance to fix it. There's an isolating tap near the leak, so I can easily turn it off ... but that will obviously turn off the supply to the header tank. Will that be a problem if it's just for 24 hours? Presumably the tank only fills if I bleed a radiator etc and the system actually 'uses' water?
Cheers
