what makes you want to fit a separate vent pipe does your boiler instructions say it needs one ?

I just presumed I needed one because it had a vent tapped of the pipework where the heating pipes went into coil on hot water cylinder before it was removed

The cold feed should be 22mm diameter with no isolation valve between the F&E cistern and where the cold feed is teed into the system.

Thanks for the help guys I will remove gate valve on feed to boiler saved me work that I didn’t need
