central heating problem ! !

Please can someone help, got a potterton 80 combi boiler, hot water fine, but heating is doing strange things, radiators upstairs very hot, but downstairs not warming up, the pump is working on the boiler, have drained the whole system and refilled it, wacked the thermostat up full, and did have hot radiators for a few hours, but now cold again, please somebody help, its bl**dy freezing here

Go upstairs then

Try turning the upstairs radiators off, do the others get hot?

awwwwww funny, have done about 10 mins ago still cold at the moment <--------- thats how cold it is ! !

i have to ask have you bled the rads

yes i have bled all the rads, and switched off all rads upstairs, now downstairs ones are getting hot, bar the last in the system, am sat on the radiator now thawing out ! ! !
