I have a vented CH system that with some rads not working well. I drained the system so that I could add some chemicals to flush the system, how ever the header tank did not empty. I have bled the radiators but now I have no central heating or hot water working at all. Any pointers would be most welcome. The boiler I have is a potterton Flamingo 50s and the pump is working

It sound like the cold feed from the F&E tank into the system is blocked.
As a quick fix you could BACK FILL the pipe work using a hose pipe fom the cold water main its not that diffecult but you do need to be carefull
