Hi
I have a water UFH with 3 loops. The water seems to circulate very slowly, so that it takes a long time for the exit pipe to get warm, and on the longest loop it never gets warm. The motorised valve seems to work and there is no air in the system. I removed the pump to clean it and after that performance is slightly better, but still not adequate, so as a next step I am intending to change the pump.
The pump at present is a Grundfos UPS 15-60 SO which appears to have a 1 1/4 inch flange. I bought what I thought was the same pump (UPS 15-60 130) but it turns out this one has 1 3/4" Flange.
The pump fits directly onto the castings for the heating and so to fit a pump with a different flange will mean a great deal of replumbing.
I have tried to find an identical pump to my existing one but cannot: they all seem to have a 1 3/4" flange.
Does anyone know where I can get one?
