Ive not used my radiators for a couple of months now. I went to put them on the other day and it seems that my pump has seized. It spun for a few seconds then jammed. However the wire for the pump seems to disapear under the floorboads of the next room and i dont fancy pulling up the carpet and floor boards in there to find the pump. Would i be ok to add a new pump to the same pipe just below the boiler and wire it in using the existing wire?
Another idea i had was to reverse the positive and negative wires to the pump causing it to spin in reverse and possibly clearing the blockage. Then connect the wires back as normal. Do you think this is safe and will work?
