I have concrete floors and one of the radiators has 15mm pipes running along the skirting board which is unsightly. I want to know can I change the pipes to 10mm (approx 2.5m length) without causing any great efficiency loss or problems?

Chase the wall and bury them or get rebated skirting and the pipes can hide behind them
