Ive moved into my new house and am not to sure how my oil heating works

The system is a Wallstar , with Honeywell timers using a Santon Premier plus unvented Hot water system .

1 . Is there a way to turn the water temp down ?

2. On the boiler there is a Min - Max dial , What is this for ?

3. There is a switch near the system that says " Immersion Heater " this is switched off , what is this and why is it off ?

I know how to use the times but thats about it .

Thanks
Danny

Thanks for the info ! Last one do i need the immersion heater on ??

Immersion is only for back up if boiler fails for some reason, so no.

The boiler usually only fails because the oil has run out!

They can be very difficult to get going again if you run the tank dry so remember I told you so!
