Central heating with pellet boilers

Dear members of the Community!

I am at the stage of making the project of my future house (2 stories) and a lot my friends recommed to add an extra heating module based on a wood pellets boiler. The main module is supposed to work on gas.

Is it reasonable to make heating system both working on gas and pellets?
