I have Ideal 105N, 100000BTU serving 16 rads and Hot water.
My installer suggests INTERGAS HRE 30K wall mounted with open vent.
I have vented system at present.
The pipeworjk has been modified 12 years ago for boiling over.
The rads upstairs dont really perfom well and i hear noises in the pipe work on and off, usually worse just when turned off. I regularly used an inhibitor.
I am right tio insist that the systm is powerflushed before new installation with a magnaclean cleaner put on the return and then add fernox?
Should I insist on both motorized valves be replaced. He says the new ones dont last more than 2 years. So he suggests only replacing valve on the heating and not the one for hot water.
What sort of pump should I have. At present Grundfos.
I have asked him to run a new cable for 7 day programmer.
Is the boiler OK? What about power flush.Is this almost mandatory?
