Hi
Trying to make a decision on what floor tiles to put down in the kitchen. Haven't got a huge budget and i know there tends to be a difference in price between the two. Porcelain being the more expensive from what i've seen.
What would everyone recommend?
Cheers

porcelain, preferably glazed, italian or spanish tends to better quality.

Porcelain are much tougher and resist damage better, but as you say they are more expensive. Regular ceramic is ok though and shouldn't be discounted it's just that porcelain is better. Comes down to how much you want to spend.

Porcelain are great - but make sure you use suitable adhesive. Ordinary adhesive leaves the tiles moving 2 weeks later, not allowing them to dry underneath - voice of a sad experience

However many moons afterwards - they look fantastic and don't move!
