Hi, I am thinking about doing a loft conversion at some point within the next few years and this may include a hip to gable conversion. However I am concerned that the "loophole" which currently allows hip to gable conversions as PD maybe removed at some point in the future.
If I was to apply for a Certificate of lawful development for my hip to gable conversion now and then the PD rules changed to outlaw hip to gable as PD, would I still be allowed to to build my hip to gable as PD as I have the COL? do COL expire at all?
