Certifying a knock through (window to a door)

Since Fensa decided to take knock throughs off their list back in Jan, hands up who's paid the large fee for the council to come out to sign their installation off?? Found out today that certifying these type of jobs can still be put through Fensa, spoke with a BBA inspector earlier, said there's some kind of court case going on with some big window firms unhappy that they can't certify these jobs through Fensa.

Haven t had a single person want to pay the extra. So I (Cough!) haven't done any.

As long as the lintel isnt disturbed Theres not much that could go wrong although there are probably people not closing the cavity's correctly or breaching DPC when they infill the floor but that could all easily be added to the MTC.
