CH Manifold

Hi all.....i have a rad downstairs,that no mater what i do it remains cold.Ihave be told its likely to be a blockage in the manifold where it feeds the rad (8mm system),is it a good idea to remove , service and replace the manifold ,...any advice most welcome....thankyou ..Mike

If you turn off all the other rads and leave this one fully open does it get hot,

It could be a blockage at the rad valve, You need to turn off the valves and disconnect from the radiator then open the valves and drain into a bucket if the water gets hot then its the valvles that are the problem, the only thing then left is the rad its self.
