i have a brittony 80 combi.It was fitted in 1998.Boiler fuse blew,so i replaced fuse.
When i turn hot water on the boiler fires up and gives me hot water.Sometime hear a noise coming from pump.
When i turn heating on it fires up and then the flame cuts out and the pump keeps running.Customer told me the heating has been off for 1 yaer
Took screw out of front of pump and it was spinning.
Could it be the diverter valve

Could be that the return heating filter is blocked.

were would i find that and how do check to see if thats the problem

Don't you have a manual? Downloads should be available on C&M site. Otherwise look at Baxi Genesis on the Parts Arena site (it's the same boiler).
