Chaffoteaux error 08

Help needed. Have a Chaffoteaux Centora Green System boiler - approx 6 yrs old. Continuing flashing error code 08 which means "No water in the primary circuit". If boiler is running and reset button is pressed then it will run with no problems for the cycle. When the time clock switches the cycle off, the boiler throws up the error once the pump has stopped.

Have changed the flow switch, the thermistor, and the PCB. Run out of ideas - can anyone help. Strange thing is that the boiler doesn't seem to have a detector to see if there is water in the primary circuit anyway!

Have you tried filling the system with water?

Yes - system full, no air, holding pressure, runs properly. Only get error message once timeclock switches off.
