I want to change this bell box for a new one. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me Which wires would go where on a new box please.
I would also appreciate advice on which box to replace it with.

Red and black to the red and black on the siren/strobe and white and green to the tamper switch assuming it’s all connected up at the other end!

Thanks. The alarm works it’s just the cover that’s cracked. Do I need to do anything with the blue wire?

Not if it’s not going to anything. There’s probably another wire as they are normally 4 or 6 core cables. Actually, looking at it again, you don’t appear to have a tamper switch fitted so just use the red and black.

It didn’t go off when I disconnected the white and green which go to a blue light at the bottom. So on a new box where will the wires go?

Think you need to post what’s at the other end ( control panel ) and what you intend to replace it with ....

A Bit wrong on that one ....
Maybe... I see the yellow and blue are twisted together, white and green seem to be just hanging. Tamper switch seems missing unless that’s hanging on them. Just assumed where the red and black went....

Hi this is the control box. The white and green wire go to a round blue light. I wanted to fit a Honeywell bell box unless you can recommend one.

Any bellbox will work with this control panel ....again with all older optimas check the battery charging resistor on the pcb before adding any other items as it’s a waste of money ...

Thanks but I’m not sure how to do that. The alarm works i just want to change the bell box. What would be a waste of money?

If the battery resistor is burnt out then the battery will not take over on a power cut ! When did it last have a new battery ?
