Change British Gas DCP to Hive Thermostat boiler no power

Hello I wonder if you could help me please, recently moved into a property with the old BG dual timer looks like a hive but isn't.
I had the great idea of installing the Hive thermostat so I can set the heating temperture so it goes on and off as it pleases rather than setting times.

I bought a Hive for the regular boiler as in dual, i checked the wiring diagram with what I have and just thought it clicked on and all would be good, with the reciever fitted pushing the manual buttons the hot water side will activate the boiler but the central heating won't any ideas where i've gone wrong please? I believe so one large and one small water tank in the loft

Try the Hive in gravity mode...

Thankyou I'll try that, I did notice with the old controller if I push boost for CH only both the hot water and CH come on at the same time, but at the top of the controller it says water is off?

Tried that the reciever just still flashed pink no signs of green or blue it's a mystery

Can you post a photo of the cylinder cupboard? Do you know if the heating worked prior to you moving in?

I may be wrong, but that looks to be too modern to be a gravity system to me!
I think you can ignore the gravity bit.
But we can leave that to the experts.

However, have you tried programming heating and hot water to come on at the same time on the Hive?

And I can't seem to find any installation manuals for the DCP at the moment.

Definitely not gravity, it’s unvented, which work on mains pressure. Hard to tell exactly, but I think the wiring is ok, so maybe look toward the motorised valve for heating.
