How to connect a replacement ceiling rose (Ed.)

Hi I changed my light fitting and wired how I seemed to remember how it was now I don’t have a front room light and the kitchen strip light is staying on dim and won’t let me switch it off any help would be appreciated thanks

I wished I did now mate wife’s not happy with me as there is no lights downstairs at the miniute
 
An obvious thing to try, would be to swap over those two blacks, which are brown sleeved, but I'm at a loss, to understand why there might be two, which are brown sleeved at all...

What you seem to have either way, is the live, being used for both cores of a two core, which is just silly....

I wonder if (looking at your photo), the rightmost brown sleeved, is the neutral, and should be in the leftmost terminal(neutral), and the middle brown sleeved one, might be the switch wire, belongs in the rightmost terminal with the brown flex? But why did they mark the neutral with brown sleeve??

Does the hall light work ok, switches on and off as it should ?
Do you have any electrical testing instruments ?
