Hello all,

I am currently trawling through a mountain of regulations in my search for the recent change in the regulations which has impacted the way windows should be constructed

I think the regulations were a step further in preventing heat loss and cold bridging, ensuring airtightness and the prevention of water penetration.

When I say recent, it may have been the changes made in 2005/2006 applicable to Northern Ireland

Any wisdom is appreciated in pointing me in the right direction, and if anyone knows what these changes actually were please feel free to share! lol

Cheers

The factors you mentioned have always (or as far as I'm aware) been present for window installation in England and Wales. I'm not sure how much they differ for Northern Ireland.

The BR's changed here last year, which really related to the u-values of the windows.
