Changing Bathroom spotlights

I have four spotlights in my bathroom. All four bulbs keep blowing rather quickly and only randomly come on unless you give a twist and then they come on. Now none will come on and have been told there will be a transformer in the ceiling somewere that may have blown..Is this correct or shgould i just buy 4 new lights.

Have a look in the loft. Find out if there is just one transformer for all 4 lights or if there is one transformer for each light.

If its one tranny for all of them it could be its that has gone.
It does sound like u need new set of lights in any case if you have to jiggle them to make them work (if you'll excuse the expression)

sounds like bad connections to me.. also sound like mains downlighters ( you have to twist them into the holder rather than just push fit the 12V ones.. )

you may need to replace the lamp conectors..
