Changing bulb - Lamona LAM2410 extractor hood

Has anyone attempted to change the bulb in a Howden's Lamona LAM2410 extractor hood?

It says should be changed by service engineer but it seriously cannot be that difficult.

Bulb cover is the white strip on the metal panel against the tiles. I'm presuming it will be a case of prising the cover off with a screwdriver or similar and then just changing the bulb?

It looks as if the panel comes out, by prising it from below, and a complete new one inserts in it's place.

Not that much of a shock. Would be easy enough to change.

Test the power supply first in case that has failed you may then be able to get a reasonably priced compatable replacement.
